Mr. Abbas Mukhtar is the Director of Fatima Group -one of the prominent family businesses in Pakistan- manufacturing fertilizers, textiles, Power and Sugar. The Group has an asset base of $2 billion, employs over 6,300 regular employees and has annual sales of approximately $1 billion.
Mr. Abbas Mukhtar joined the family business post completing his bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania (UPenn).Abbas oversees strategy with regards to the fertilizer business, as well as the Fatima Cement Limited.
As a member of the senior management of Fatima Group, he is actively involved in social welfare initiatives pertaining to healthcare and education. Abbas is also an avid supporter of sports in Pakistan. He constantly works for the growth of sports in Pakistan through various ventures, for healthier, happier society.
